The morettes on that valver are worth something but the photes arent the best.

Is it national 'shit photographs' day on eBay or something?

Clearly when selling a car like these, the poor photos gives it an extra mystique which will increas the value

Well it's still half the price of what Phil's sold for and this one has Morettes! :D

Also as a further bonus it's had a couple of exhaust cylinders fitted too!

Lol at 'exhaust cylinders'. Looking at those listings it's quite clear they don't actually want to sell the cars because they've made sod all effort to advertise them properly. At least they're not private listings I suppose though.

True but it looks rather tatty by those photoes, hence the distance! Quite like the body coloured door mirrors though.

Lol no more BXs for me, I have the 3 I want thanks. The only purchase would be a turbo diesel if I hand my company car back next year.

To be honest Billy for what I pay for the company car in tax at the moment its a bargain when you take into account insurance, tax fuel etc, but if the way its calculated changes, as it may do in Jan 09 I could see a significant hike in tax which means I would have to review it. But thats a bridge I can cross in the new year.

If they pay your fuel that's pretty damned good. How would you fare if you bought your own car (say about 18 months old for arguments sake), would they they pay towards the insurance etc or would you just not have to pay company car tax or something?

I'm in the same boat, when i did 20,000+ miles a year it was well worth it, but as Tim says the rules are constantly tightening, it may soon be cheaper to run a cheap car of my own.

Mr Brown doesn't like 'perks', i even pay tax on my works phone because i can make personal calls on it, so it's classed as a benefit in kind.

If the company car goes, so would the insurance and most probably the fuel so lets hope things stay as they are, they would of course have to give me some kind of financial incentive but I would rather have my shiny new all expenses paid new Golf etc every 6 months than worry about using my own cars.
