Thats less than half an hour up the road from me if anyone needs me to look for them.

It's obviously not starting cos you have to bleed diesels back in after they run dry. Looks like a potentially nice car!

Ahh, not a proper Cooperess then, but one of those huge efforts by BMW, honestly air con, ABS, nice seats, windows you can see out of, air bags, inability to rust for fun and reliability - no fun at all

I miss the Downton engined '84 Sprite I once owned and thrashed the pants off, but I have to admit these days I think I would go for comfort rather than originality any day. Also the old ones are no fun to be in when it all goes road-sky-road-sky-road-ambulance....

I've always fancied a proper cooper, but was totally put off when a girl i knew proudly showed me her mint cooper & took me for a spin, what a let down, slow, noisy & an even more jiggy ride than my fake one.

And then within days it was back at the garage getting work done on it, rust was appearing, parts coming adrift, dodgy electrics, the poor girl was distraught, it was her dream & in the end she couldnt wait to get rid of it.

I'll stick with mine, best car i've ever owned for driving thrills & that supercharged wine is addictive (as well as the engines liking for petrol

), plus's & minus's to everycar though....

Nope, but at £100BIN I think its good value. Anyone down that way fancy buying a rare BX?

It'll only be an enthusiast who buys it because not many others are going to want a rough-ish old Citroen with no battery or MOT that doesn't run. Still well worth the money though: you not fancy it Kitch?
