These have been on before. Don't know what happened tho'.
Got me thinking about accessories and the prices they seem to command.
What's the 'Top Five'?
Sunroof wind deflector, headlight protectors, tailblazer, centre armrest, side window deflectors, computer, genuine Cit rubber mats (esp. rear), twin headlight conversion, Momo steering wheel, Mk. 1 alloys...
and so on.
But the Holy Grail (unless anyone can top this suggestion
)... are rear cubby-hole doors (esp. estate!)...

Oh you are sooo sensible Way2go
I think the point is that most of the accessories are, well, pointless but for many, having genuine accessories (almost regardless of whether they are a sensible choice) enhances the BXperience...
After all I owned a genuine BX dog guard for ages.
I have never had a dog.

I have rear head rests in my TZD and anyone who has travelled in the back says they are great.
That includes me as i had to be driven everywhere after my hand operation and it was very comfortable in the back of my own car being driven by my sister in law.
My wife doesn't drive.
Definately a must rear head rests
Regards Kermit

I've got a few of those things such as the 'rear cubby hole doors' ( for estate) - and they are actually quite useful as they hold back the sea of crap that lurks within! I've also got a dog guard and a dog but he tends to sit up front anyway!
Also front and rear genuine wind deflectors, though the rear ones never stay on.. door handle protectors, ski rack.
I picked up something recently that I've never seen though : genuine boxed side window blinds - anyone seen these? - they are now fitted and are the same as the rear blinds in style. Will take a photo if anyone's interested?
Remy has some quite unusual accessories ( as well as knowing just about every one that was ever made and in what country it was available!)
the last one he showed me was the driver's side sun-blind with mirror which sits behind a sliding panel! He also supplied me with some rear head-rests for my yellow break and I'm negotiating for further treasures from his store!
The BX Accessories are the icing on the cake and the thing that gets a BXer salivating as he approaches the scrapyard..
( just got a tip off from Remy today regarding a newly spotted Mk.1 just over the border in a scrappy..

Well, I have to say Accesories are great, but rear headrests, front armrests and cubby hole doors have to be the best. I've never really been a fan of the sunroof deflector, because it spoils the look (In my opinion), and can be a bugger for catching dirt. I've also got a Tailblaser in the garage, but it's for a Phase 1 and a bit broken.
I picked this up off ebay a while back for £7 or £8... Brand new of course. Now just need another one

Ignore the boot full of Mk 1 Cavalier spares and poorly fitted 6x9s... both of these items have been rectified since the photos were taken

That's strange that you only got one Matt! There's actually a single one for a Break on German Ebay at the moment ( if anyone needs one.)
I bought mine sometime last year : a new boxed set came up on Ebay and went for stupid money ( to someone from this club I believe). A week later the seller offered up another boxed set ( d'ya think these things grow on trees??) which I purchased for the price of a case of beer.
I've been really careful with them but already one is broken because the boot lining onto which it sits is quite warped thus creating uneven pressure on the rather puny plastic hinges!
