Where did you source the red bumper trim inserts? they do look rather good. I really fancy the silver one's, but can i find any that are a reasonable price, erm no

P2's never had silver bumper inserts.
They were red or black only AFAIK.

They're different inserts to the non valver bumpers mind..

Yes Matt, they look rather fetching!

If they are brand new I'd also be interested in where they came from, especially if they have any more, and in black!
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Sorry if I got your hopes up chaps, I just cleaned and refitted the crusty old red ones... I have never seen new ones.

If you are ever able to find any, I recently discovered that the striping from the doors/bumpers of an MG Maestro fit perfectly... Might be a tad easier to find too.

Took delivery of my side skirts on Monday...

:D :D :D :D

Just have to figure out how to attach them neatly, (Any advise welcome  ) and spray them, and the car will be shaping up nicely.

I'll ask my mate whether I can pinch them off his Maestro perhaps?

Same here (or a tweaked turbo diesel  ) but each to their own...

I thought I would show a picture as I know there are some forum members who (strangely  ) actually enjoy looking at old BL cars!

I've always been rather partial to BL tin, I've owned a BL longer than anything else I have. One day it'll go again..

That Meastro looks great!

As does the Metro!
A mate in work has just bought a Metro 1litre from 1984, and it looks brand new, thats about 23K miles IIRC, I'll get some piccies up of it when able, I was blown away just how amazing it looked.

The metro always got a bum deal in my opinion, it was better to drive, ride in, loads more roomy and slightly less rust resistant than a mini, but just as easy to fix, shame they have all rotted away now. Most of the MG's have been cannibalised for minis so finding a decent one is hard work.

Yes, that Maestro looks good . The 'Turbo' writing on the side isn't too subtle!

Look forward to seeing your newly aquired body kit fitted Matt. Where did you get it from incidently ? Did someone else had the job of removing it?
