French Car Show 2006!
Sunday 28th May - 9am-5pm
Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground
Lutterworth, Leicestershire, LE17 5QS
I'll be there as always (infact i'll be there Friday, Saturday and Sunday), hopefully in the damn car, and i'll be working and playing as usual! Its an 'interesting' day out with a huge range of cars on show, not just french ones. Plenty that have been 'halford'ised, and some specials that are untouched (anyone for a 405 Mi16x4 with hydropneumatic rear?).
Beyond the barried cars and blearing music, theres a huge trade village with plenty to have a look at and enough bonnet scoops to make stuart drool! Theres some serious good food and a lot of track action, both racing and 0-60 sprints! Then theres the planes, one side of the place is a storage area for alsorts of old planes, even if you dont like planes there impressive!!
The BX16v Owners Club will be there as ever, and i'd like to know if anyone here fancies going? either as seperate club all together or perhaps we could unite forces and go en masse?
personally i'm going for the sun, the cars and the people!

that sounds like a great idea, we could do a day or a weekend'
and it would be a good opener for those who never been across the channel in their car before
thinks, there might be a good thread is this
Yay, maybe we should have a BXClub raid to Calais.

Boulogne with Speedferries is a better idea. Check out the 36 hour for £25 offer on www.speedferries.com. Boulogne is cheaper for beer, too but not as cheap as Dunkerque. If you are going up that way, a good cheap hotel is the Vivaldi in Blankenberge, a little way over the Belgian Border and not far from Brugge.
