Does anyone know the difference between an SAE and a DIN distributor? Is Bosch one and Ducellier the other?

Just the Halfrauds guide to HT lead applications lists two for the Cit BX16, but just says SAE and DIN.

Reason I ask is that my new Meteor has a Bosch dizzy (red cap, hex bolt/screw fixing), whereas my other one has a Ducellier (black cap, philips screw fixing).

Thanks!

Mark.

I have a spare one in the garage, it had a new cap on just before it came off the car, not sure which it is, but I think it's a red cap.
They think it's all over, it is now!

I can't remember for sure, isn't it whether the lead caps are male or female fitting?
