Was there indeed a 405T16 as described? Even so the Activa came out after that didn't it? Could it have been an earlier form of active suspension or is it all guff?

There was indeed a 405 T16. Identifiable by 16 inch alloys but thats about it. 200 horsepower and with 220 on overboost iirc.

Most shocked to see one driving towards me in France a couple of years ago..... rare beast!

Active suspension = self leveling something Citroens been doing for a very long time. It is in efect a dumb system as its set to a permanant ride hight similar to the system in the back of certain rolls royce and mercedez benz models.

T16 405 is very very impressive and fun to watch on track. Used to turn up at the french car show each year

Back on topic - here's my 4x4 about 3 years ago.

Posing quietly surrounded by Citro cousins behind my old (now scrapped) GTi - you can't tell the front doors are barely attached on the grey one can you?
