How about: Get job, get van, use van to move stuff into flat therefore saving money, sell van, buy something daft(er)?

Alas as I'm too much of a tightwad to shell out more than a few hundred quid on a motah, I doubt any A55 in that price range would be fit for moving itself, let alone my life!
