Just in case anyone was thinking of buying this:

Tell us about BXs you have spotted on the road, or BXs/parts spotted for sale including eBay finds.

Might be that some one reported it for listing breaches... Can't imagine who
I have zero patience for your tedium.

Back on ebay now, 3 day listing, still no contact to me despite me offering to make good on our original deal. Stupid but I'm almost more gutted about a good BX going to waste than losing my money :(

Cripes. He certainly did the right thing by screwing me around! Who would have thought there would be so much interest.

Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Not sure if this'll help but I had this reply when sending a complaint to eBay:

Hello ------

Thank you for writing to us in behalf of your friend who bid on a car (item 110863228905) outside eBay and even gave a deposit. I definitely think we needed to know about this seller “classicpoly”.
------, we strongly recommend that members should always complete their purchases and sales on the eBay website - it's the safest way to trade with other eBay members. Purchases made outside of eBay are not protected by our Feedback system and buyer protection services.
We don't also allow members to email offers to buy or sell listed items outside the eBay website. Always make sure that your User ID is listed as the winning bidder on the 'Item ended' page before sending money for a purchase.
We’re always concerned about policy violations. Please be assured that we’ll look into the seller’s account and we’ll take appropriate action if necessary based on our site rules. The actions we can take against poor-performing sellers include: issuing the member an informational alert, a temporary suspension, an indefinite suspension or terminating the member’s account.
If you can’t see what action was taken this doesn’t mean that we haven’t taken any. Bear in mind that most of these actions can’t be seen by other members.
Thanks again for letting us know about this. Where we received a complaint, we take a close look at this seller’s activity, and more complaints follow from other buyers, we’ll look into their account again.

Kind regards,

---- -------
