Good stuff Tim. Ken, IMO you are applying the aesthetic judgements of 1990 onwards.

In the context of a 'retro' early to mid 80's style accessory it's spot on. Not to everyone's taste, but soooo 'in keeping'

It would look shite on the valver or the TRS but I think on a hearing aid beige 80s retro-mobile it will look just fine, and if you dont like it tough!
