So your saying that you don't need a sensor, just a gauge and some wire?

Exactly. You don't need a sensor, because there is already one on your car, which does nothing more than stop the water coming out of the engine !
Unfortunately, I can't take photos, as I have sold my 14
. However, the sensor is easy to find. Just follow the top radiator hose to where it meets the engine, and you should see a male connector which is not attatched to anything. That's the sensor.
