Re: Paul's polishin' blog
The practical questions of why and what's to be done with all these cars didn't really occur to me. I preferred to see the whole thing as a great big work of art - the whole place was certainly very beautiful and as Oscar Wilde rightly pointed out. 'all art is quite useless'. Although, there were obviously quite a few bits and pieces I could definitely find a use for - there was a shit load of contour mudflaps for instance!

Well, obviously when I say 'contour mudflaps' I mean those old generic ones.

Re: Paul's polishin' blog
Alan is a very amenable guy (contrary to what I was told) but would'nt suffer fools lightly and of course pilfering would be dealt with strongly! Ive never seen a good source of BX parts so its worth remembering for future use.Mickey taker wrote:Would quite like to join you guys next time you go if pos, just for a day out and help you remove stuff if needed,

Re: Paul's polishin' blog
Perhaps a few of us could get together and have a parts buying visit. I had a message from Daniel this morning and everything's for sale and I think Alan is quite keen to shift as much stuff as he can. The pricing all seems very reasonable and there's enough bits and pieces there to keep alot of cars going for years. I think the key is to keep the whole thing civilised unless you want to take a bullet!

Re: Paul's polishin' blog
All those mentions of interesting 14's... Still want one, but need the space to put it and the time to sort it. The TXD and, although not so much at the moment, GT, manage to take up all of my spare time that could possibly be allotted to cars (granted, it isn't much). Hopefully it's places like these that will help keep the pot that is BXing simmering for some time yet.
