I think you're right there Adam. I know the earlier cars didn't have side repeaters, and that they had the computer and the tweed seats but I didn't know about the stripes.
The one we have is an 86' spec car (even though its an 85 car
) and it has no computer (yet
) and the mk2 CX GTi velour on the seats.
It also has a black dash. For a mk1, I think thats vital as its the only one which doesn't go multi-coloured

the bidding price may seem high now,but what a car to have! and how often do they come up? give it a few more years, you wish you had bought it! if only i had bought the GS X2's i was offered several years ago!
the MK1 GT is certainly a rare beast,if not already, soon will be a "classic",this one will proberly make a good investment for someone,if you realy want it, go for it,don't regret it in 5 years time! (as i've done with GS's and R16's,if i knew then what i knew now!!)
be fantastic to see another MK1 it at the BX Challenge!!

I expect people worry about the potential work required as Ken mentioned. No reason why this car isn't any good but it's a potential minefield if it's stood that long. One good thing is that it's extremely unlikely to go to anyone but a big Citroen enthusiast who will look after it.
Vauxhall apologist.
