Why's that Ken? OK no ticket or Tax and probably a fair amount of work, but rarity and general condition should secure it a buyer... but (as I suspect the reserve's a tad optimistic) not at any price. Which is what you meant I guess?

A reserve of more than £100 for a car without T&T tells me the seller probably thinks its worth more than it really is.

OK his reserve could be not much more, but on the other hand. :?

I Don't expect this to go for peanuts, I think you are looking at £250 with multiple bidders I know several people who would buy this straight away blind..

Go for it Tim. It is - IMHO - a lovely looking car with interesting rarity. Surely well worth investing in.

Description is too vague for my liking, I don't believe there are no faults with it and he doesn't mention anything it might fail test on and whether he has all the previous MOT's or history to back up the mileage.
Don't get me wrong it's a fine looking and rare car but I'd advise that anyone interested goes to see it before bidding.
One other small point (meant with respect to all): I wouldn't be keen to openly state what you have, or plan to, bid. If someone selling a car found this forum they might be inclined to schill bid, though I'm not implying that about the seller of this car.

Ive emailed him asking for any known faults etc, to be honest Billy I dont have much spare cash so wont be bidding much over the starting bid.

Different people see diefferent things..I personally have a great affinity to the mk I BX they were a part of my growing up so I would pay beyond what is sensible to have one. I had a Mk I Renault 5 Le Car which someone bought for £700 as it was similar to the one he had when he first learned to drive. sily money for a car worth not more than £450. Buts thats how things go.

If I can get shot of this Alfa Romeo I have hanging around me I'll have a shot

Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...
