Nice one, I was rather worried it may have fallen into the wrong hands at that price... I put it to the other half that I either want that or a new TV, we went out that evening and bought the TV (bearing in mind I've been banging on about a new TV for closing on 2 years), she really didn't want me to have it!

Glad it's going to a good home though. Can't wait for more details and pics

Thanks chaps, it's gonna be a couple of weeks since I can't pick it up immediately and the seller is going away for a bit (also need to book travel tix in advance for cheapness)

My missus flipped a bit when I got the second one, the third one I just sorta slipped in quietly under cover of darkness, obviously not wanting to answer the unanswerable.

Indeed! my other half has a bit of a semi-prescious beads and jewelery thing and has spent A LOT on them from all round the planetoid. It has moved to cover wool now.... she knits now and sources the most expensive and hard to get yarn imaginable!

Still got my mega warm knitted slipper-sock hybrids so I'm seeing it her way...

Amigos, I'm heading Southwards this Thursday the 23rd. It's a flight from Edinburgh to Newquay, a bus and a train to Camborne and then a 3-4 hour drive to meet Mr Rutherford and crash there overnight (thankyou Mr R)

I'll be driving up early (hopefully) on Friday if anyone's free for a chat (I know it's a 'school day' so maybe not)

Quite looking forward to this trip - I mean who actually goes to Cornwall for a day!? well, I do coz I'm a freak but that's not important now.

I have ordered a clutch and cambelt via Mr. Rutherford 'just in case' ! though the guy tells me the clutch is light and the TB has been done in the last few years..

I just trust there's no rust lolz.

- your wish is my command! I'll be up very early since I'm getting a coach to Edinburgh but I'll be walking to the station (probably in the pissing rain looking at the forecast) early. Then it's Vanhool power to Edinburgh and then FlyBE Bombardier power to Newquay - hoping to get pix of all the various vehicles en route

and pix of all the various chapters.

Of course it could be pictures of the RAC van but hey, a story's a story nomatter how shite it is LOL

Hitting the hay early tomorrow so probby will not get on 'ere before going.
