Nice one. Shame there's no pic of the rust. (Agree with Dave R.... ha ha  )

Is it really going to be red and not pink? Even so, it's rare enough to be desirable and should be brought into our 'circle'!

It's also a shame there's no pics of the spotless rear seats. Also, he says is has PAS but I thought that only came in for the 16 from 1985 - anyone know for sure?

Great to see a low mileage Mk1 - that's the key thing about this particular one

I prefer them in red to beige to be honest, as for PAS its worth finding out but like you I though they only came in in 1985.

Hmm, might be a special order ? maybe it was 1984 for the PAS and 1985 for air con... Just checked the down loaded brochures and it was 1984 for the PAS

Someone's asked a question about the reserve price - typical 'politician's answer' there, why the secrecy over reserves?

Well we shall see, its probably worth about £500 tops I say for rarity value, as we all know BX petrol non GTi models struggle to fetch decent money. Lets hope it finds a loving home

£500's high IMHO. I would hope it fetches that - but more like £350 in my view. I am worried it's a 'user ID kept secret' auction. Why? If it's not to disguise schill bidding? That is a criticism aimed not at the seller so much but at eBay who offer the option.

I cant see why any genuine seller would use the userid being kept secret function???? Or am i missing something?

For a car like that to have a reserve as well, whats the point, might as well put the reserve price on as the start price, pointless in wasting all the bidders time if no one wins it anyway....

Ebay really has caused more problems than solutions, its just another way of making money to be honest, because it wont sell so the person advertises it again & again & e-bay reap the rewards.

Rant over, time for beddybies....

that is seriously nice. I'd love one of those in tip top condition, restored still in its original cellophane wrapper, or the like.
