Hello as above, its 127 bhp and has just been rebuilt ,its only done a couple of thousand or so.New valves, guides , rings, shells, pump etc. it needs to go quickly car is being scrapped, the gearbox destroyed itself and the owner gave up. It does go really well and is a good one. No reasonable offer refused.( negotiable ) Car being taken away Saturday.Sorry about the short notice. It would be a shame to scrap this engine.
Located in Bristol.
Cheers
Geoff.

If you find any pics of the Conservatorie (whatever it's called) you'll find a pic of a helicopter in there.Philip chidlow wrote:Off topic I know, but (semi) seriously, has Citroen any aviation history, I wonder...
Scary thought when one considers the standard of electricals the French are renowned for.

By the time you're old enough to know it all, you can't remember why you were learning.

Yeah, I guess that's a fair point. Would you go up in a Citroen Helicopter???
What about WW2, I know the Germans commandeered as many Tractions as they could - made decent staff cars - but, apparently didn't bother taking them when they left...

Hello-Ive had an offer of an engine that must go from David but if I hadnt id be interested in this one- Regarding aeroplane's/Citroens, I know about one guy who built his own plane using a 2cv engine I suppose even though they have their problems, its only because they are old, and so robust that people take certan bits reliability for granted and dont replace them- If you completely rebuild one and fit new everything, then they are pretty much bomb proof for 15,000 miles (or 10,000 flight hours ) . Mind you it must be a light plane for 30 BHP to allow it to take off. I just remember seeing something about it on the net ages ago.

To have flight from 30hp means that it cant be much more than a flexwing microlight. Even the smallest of small aircraft have 70-80hp from their rotax / jabaru engines. Whilst you don't need all of that in flight, getting off the ground with only 30hp must be almost impossible.
this might be a signature

Think that might have been it. Not very successful but it looked like it went.
