Impromptu BX meeting, South Mimms Services 22/02

Chris Salter (ren16tx) has asked me to post this up for him due to his lack of internet access:

He's organising an impromptu BX meeting, and the basic details are: be at South Mimms M25 Services carpark just off the A1(M) exit for around 12pm on Sunday 22nd to meet up with fellow BXers for a chat, swap parts, take photos etc.

He's got at least 3 BXs coming so far. Not sure if I can make it yet.

So - is anyone interested?

I was going to go to that. (sadly the BX is currently mothballed.)

How about another date that suits more of us in the South East area?

Yep, Chris is considering another date for a meet...

Perhaps I can urge him to find a more interesting location to meet. I know most people know where South Mimms services is... but I have to say it's not the most inspiring place for a meet.........

Knebworth House is an interseting possibility. It's near Stevenage, just East of Luton.

How about w/e 21/22 March for a mini-meet? The house and gardens are open.

It sound a good idea not been there ,other than for aconcert and that was longer thah I care to admit,.
will be something for the family to look at.
I think It will be a good oppotunitiy to test my cb rig.

Aye, location is good I think, but for me now the dates are less so.


(If the dates moved to somethime in April it might be better? :) )
