Hi.
My speedo had a little bit of needle wobble and has now stopped altogether.It now makes a hell of a noise which I presume is the sound of the cable revolving but not engaging.So I presume I need a new cable so to come to the crunch can they be bought at any Citroen dealers or will I need to trawl through Ebay?

Try your local motor factors. Mine still list cables for the BX,or give Malcolm Lockwood a ring,he should be able to get one for you. Which end has gone,the gearbox part,or the one behind the dash? Malcolm's number is 01274 640590.Geoff

BX speedo cable
Thanks for all the help,I have now fitted a top end cable which has made my speedo work again.However it now clicks which I presume means the speedo head could do with doing.Am selling it anyhow and it taint that noisy to bother me.
