As always I would hope to get it cheap, due to its faults, short tax and test and of course it's age.
If I'm successful and get it home, I would have a good look round it, cost out it's repair and if its worth saving, I would do so. if not
The point I'm making is, these cars are always much cheaper and easier to buy than to sell, especially when you've done all the work and put the thing into good order, even an MOT today adds another 40 quid on to it. Add an oil & filter change, LHM, and gearbox oil, and in this case an octopus and you're somewhere between £200 and £300 already.
