I'm Brian, and I've just acquired this:

Anyone who frequents http://www.retro-rides.org or the 2CVGB Forum will probably know who I am.

For those who don't I'm 44, live about 3 miles away from the flat, empty wasteland that used to be The Austin Motor Company, and love anything made before catalytic converters and stupid pointless gadgetry became de rigeur on cars.

In the past I've owned all sorts of rusting tat...I mean classic metal... but have until lately been reliant on Pe**eots for my dose of daily motoring.

Until now.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off for a look round......there's a lot to see here!!

Picking it up this Saturday morning, I'll document the entire day's roadtrip and you'll hopefully see the results that evening.

Cheers! I've just had a pleasant surprise when ringing up to change my insurance over, apparently it's a TZD, not an RD as I first thought. Lots more toys to play with/break!!!

Hmm if its a TZD and its an estate it will be a TZD turbo 1769cc which is great. Have you got the reg no Brian?

Apparently if it was a TD it would be a TZDturbo, but according to my insurers and the DVLA it's definitely 1905cc, but according to the AA Data Check site it's a TGD.

Perhaps she meant TGD when she said TZD. Silly ol' bint!
