Anyone out there who might have some use for my 21 year old Citroen BX as a spare part car?
Does not start at the moment (it's not the battery thought) so would need to be collected, only other faults (as far as I know) apart from no MOT and tax is minor hydraulic fluid leak in front of left rear wheel.
Happy to give it away for free, if it's going to be collected as at the moment it's sitting in the driveway taking up all the space. (Neighbours are not too impressed)
Any questions just give me shout.

Potentially yes! I am not too far away from you so could collect. Please can you confirm what model it is?

Hi, just had a look and it says Citroen BX - XF.
Hope that's any help. Forgot to mention that it is a left wheel drive, not sure whether that makes any difference?!

Perhaps they're badged differently over seas? I have never heard of XF though.

Judging by the chassis code I'd say it's certainly a break David!
You know you want to!
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!
Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

The title of the thread
may be a clue...
I doubt that it will be a turbo diesel with it being an early one, that is what I am after ideally as a spares car. But I wouldn't stand in the way of anyone who wanted to put it back on the road. Why are you after a LHD estate anyway?

I'm afraid I'm a proper girl when it comes to cars
)
Yes it is a BX 19RD and it is an Estate and left hand drive.
Sorry for all the confusion. Might be able to sort a pic over the weekend, if that is any help.

Methinks you could do with your Height Correctors looking at David
Maybe your struts (legs) are stuck in "High" position?
Sorry.....I'll get my coat!
