White GTI on eBay
Seems a nice example with easily rectified 'bad points'... The main issue for a car like this is price. It's still not going to be worth a huge amount is it? (Like mine

Oh my parents disowned me ages ago because of the state of the garage.
Only have one BX now, did have three a while back but its ok mainly because:
My dad is chuffed to have a BX 16v on the driveway!
One of them was the trusty estate, which he loved for its character and honesty. A mate was using it, and its now being stored in a barn with hay and a horse.
The other was my brief incounter with the Mk1. My dad used to have a 16TRS on an A reg, so it brought back memorys! Although his had a proper gearbox.

Why do these people always wait till the tax runs out before trying to sell them? how do they expect you to get them home?
Because they`re like me and too bloody tight to waste a minute`s tax on a car they aren`t going to keep!
In fairness though if I have a taxed car for sale I`ll offer tax for surrender value or let the lising finsih a few days before the tax does. That works well too because highest bidder is more inclined to collect asap if it`s still taxed.
The GTi in question looks lovely in my opinion and I reckon it`s got to be worth £400.
