If it's as good as it looks , the A/C works and indeed 'no expense has been spared' that's probably about the right price. Engine re-built at 200,000kms too and heaven knows how rare a 16v is in NZ. I think that car here would probably get that money ( or more) because just to get the A/C working normally costs €€€s

That's Phils old car isn't it pictured above?

A valver's quite a rare sight in NZ I'd have thought? What do they normally go for?

If I ever moved out there and that's what I had to pay, I'd pay it. Mint ones go for around half that over here, but then you've got the shipping costs etc.

Mind you if I moved out there, I'd take mine with me

Yeah, I reckon that's Phil's old car - I think it was sold to an SM owner called Simon who only had it for a short time also.

Do you reckon you'd be interested in a valver then Sue?

I thought Ascot Valver bloke still had it?

£3000 for a valver with air, over there.. bout right I'd have said.

Course Sue would like a valver, valvers are for winners.
Of course, if she shacked up with me then she wouldn't have to actually but one, since I already have one like!

Sadly, it could be my best selling feature....
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

That is my ex-valver indeed- I think it did get sold on AFAIK.
It was a lot of car for the money.

They are not that rare apparently the Kiwis like Big Engined Cars whats rare over here is a BX14.

Put it this way when it comes to insuring the Car the maximum agreed value I could find was $2930.00 as a value for the car. Whats dumb is the cost to insure is the same as my 19TZS at $248

One problem if you ever did move out here the BX would have to stay in the UK or in a Museum when it got here  why? Because some twats decided to introduce frontal impact standards several years back which is why my Low Mileage BX16 Auto ended up staying in the UK and flogged for 250 quid

Anyways its a Car Sales Yard selling it I am guessing they would be trying to make a mint out of it? Nice Car etc but heck seen those descriptions before. Seriously though that kind silly money is not with us anymore.

come on Chris , dont you think I see enough of ambulances ( and there contents )

I like the 16 valve but my daily drive to work would probably ruin it as its not far enough to warm it up properly , would be fun for my jaunts home to Sussex though

I love the sight of Ambulances especially when they get to the scene before us.

Hey, dont knock ambulances - alsmost as good as "out patients" for night time naughty hospital shenanegans.... Or indeed the A block xray room, or the treatment room in dental with its reclining chair.... In many respects its a shame hospitals have got all security conscious and statrted locking these places up.
