hi all
the time has come to be more sensible/stupid, and the tge is up for sale. at present i am teetering between a diesel of some sort (maybe even an estate) or a valver (kitch's)
the car...
1990 bx 14 tge
88k miles

trition green with full hurricane interior
4 good tyres with plenty of tread
good bodywork (apart from usual dings/dents)

Listen to the voices and go for the valver! I can tell you that at least the exhaust cross box and OSR door are good.

People have different areas of expertise and interest and even the best-written instructions don't make sense to everybody.
Live and let live, please. Chris is being honest here, not lazy.
Back on two wheels and pedal power for the moment.

Haven't seen under the bonnet of one of those for yonks, my God; the space to work around the engine!

Hurricane interior looks awesome in that
Just needs a decent set of wheels and a clean up to get that looking spot on IMO.
The space around the engine is great! TU's are so easy to work on it's untrue. A league ahead of the XU in terms of user friendliness! I've found Fords that are harder to work on that a TU engined BX

There's been a lot of chat about BX14s recently, and some have said they're underpowered. I've owned/driven most types of BX except for a valver, and the slowest by far was a BX11 I drove in Italy. Before anyone gasps in disbelief, yes they did make a BX11 and, surprisingly, most seem to have been sold in Italy. Well, it was the home of the FIAT 500, the BX11 was almost as slow, but had a lot more room.
