Just wondering, Is the engine related to that in the 2.1TD XM?

Aye, it's the same engine (although I believe in the Xantia was always fitted with the nasty Lucas EPIC injector pump.)

Yes Ed, just like what Jon said although I have to say that for all it's nastiness, I've not had an ounce of trouble from the Epic pump but I think I've been lucky. It was certainly one of my concerns about the future reliability of the car - but I now need not worry!

Need anything Ed???
