late model GTi interior good condition

Post by Brian King »

Four seats and door cards from 56,000-mile late model GTi. Colour scheme identical to black and white television interference. Same price as central locking plip and receiver advertised here recently, except for Mr Rutherford, to whom it will be double the price.

Why the fuck is everyone having a go at David?

Not that he'd need to pay any money at all for any style door cards if he wanted some, since he's welcome to any set from me, for free.
Or anything else he wanted.

The way it's going here, anything from me will be £1,000,000 to anyone else.

Sadly disappointed Brian, I thought you were a gentleman. Clearly I was wrong.
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

I have no gripe with David, nor do I see the point of making cryptic comments here or elsewhere without explanation - unless it's on something that's become a word-association thread...

Life's too short.

However, I'd gently suggest that David's current avatar might seem a little provocative to anyone who's not been on this forum for a while, or just joined, whatever the history behind it.

It's a mickey-take of the snot-dribbling morons who use the internet, mainly to comment on YouTube videos, or advertise rubbish on eBay.

... it's also nothing to do with Brian King's crypitic little poke above. I know exactly why he's done so, but in the absence of any sensible moderation on this forum, am waiting for him to come and explain himself. If he wishes to take something that was previously restrained to PM's out "into the open" then he can explain himself properly.

Or if I get bored, I might explain the situation. Not that anyone else will care, but I am getting mighty pissed off with people making nasty little comments like this.

Hokey dokey..... if it's general David season then anyone's welcome to have a pop at me instead, for the sake of variety. It'll probably wash over anyway, being a bit of a ponderous bear of little brain.

Late model GTi interior in good condition

Post by Brian King »

I have been called upon to explain myself. On March 22nd I posted a topic: 'BX GTi and 4x4 parts for sale'.

LISTEN UP. On March 22nd David Rutherford posted 'How's the interior? I could do with one complete, possibly plus dash and all the door trims too...I'd come and take it all apart of course'

On May 17th I posted that everything was now ready for collection. I was under pressure to clear the space. Due to sciatica I could not take out the interior so Roverman did it whilst taking what he wanted. During all this I was emiling David Rutherford but there was no reply. Eventually he sent the following message to me: 'I did only every say that I could do with an interior, never actually confirmed that I would have the time to come and remove it...'

What would you have said to him Doc?

Indeed. It was an interest. A possibility. A question as to how the interior is.

At no point did I ask you or anyone else to remove it, or did I say that I definitely wanted it. I wasn't at that point sure that I definitely needed it, or that the car it was destined for was even going to make it back onto the road, hence the preliminary enquiry.

At no point was any mention of monies made, until all of a sudden I discover that the interior has been removed, and that you want monies for it, that it's in your way, and apparently I'm causing a problem.

I fear that you have mis-interpreted a preliminary enquiry as a definite sale.
