Breaking 1990 BX 16v in red

Post by Kitch »

Enough's enough. I've got two kids here needing my attention, I don't have the money to finish this other valver off and I've already sunk god knows how much into it this far.

I'm breaking it with the intention to recover the money I've spent so far. So far, everything is available, so if you need anything let me know.

Cheers

Will you sell it complete Kitch if you get enough interest?

Yeah I'd rather sell it complete to be honest. I'd get more money being a skinflint and flogging the bits to the 205 clan, but truth be told I'd feel guilty about wrecking a potentially tidy car and time is also something I'll well short of. I'm up 3 times a night feeding babies and changing a pair of nappies! To be honest, I couldn't give two f**ks about cars right now, in any sense!

If it does – sadly, go 205 way, let me know. I'm GU6 located.
Just need back-up spares for mine body, electrical etc etc.

Could do an exchange for a bulk lot of Pampers.

Stick with it. The nappies do change colour after a while!!!

Best of luck

Regards

Pete

I've just had my first visit from one of the curtain-twitching, twee gardening old biddies round here about the amount of cars I have and all the noise I keep making, and to expect a call from the cops if I don't change it as it interferes with his TV.
A quiet word in the ear seeing as I wasn't aware that anybody else could hear me obviously didn't suffice. He was promptly told to fuck off in the real sense of the phrase,

This means that this valver REALLY has to go now, but seeing as there seem to be zero in the way of interested parties on here reference the car as a whole, it may just be best to contact me via PM if you want anything as for sale threads on here just turn into chitter chatter/bickering (I know, I stray off topic too) and I really can't be arsed to write any more of them!

Someone buy the whole car - if you had a "Buy It Now" price Kitch it might attract more interest? Shame to break...

Especially as it could be turned into:

He does (did?) have a price, £430. I am soooo tempted, but my wife has recently lost her job - so I just can't/daren't...

I'm not sure if it would be kinder to break it than turn it into that thing!

But yeah, B.I.N was £430. However I've not had time to sort the cambelt or spheres, so if someone wants to save it as a complete running car, then £375 and I've actually lost money since taking it in March! :(

£375, in my hand and someone can take it.

Put that on eBay with a Buy-it-Now of £450 and it will go very quickly I suspect.

Yes, it'll probably end up in the hands of a Pug driver, but if you ask them nicely to offer the remainder of the car back on here for spares or something like that, then at least you get your money back, the car goes, and everyone else will benefit.

Sold to a man who's always wanted one! Time will tell if the car ever sees the road again, as I know he changes his mind with the wind!
