Well the smoking has stopped completely, I think it had some dodgy petrol in it, I got it from a mate who got it from his boss who misfueled his diesel Jag with petrol, so I think it was a small diesel residue burning off. It went the second I filled it up again! Ah well, so to that end and to fund my valver, my BX is on eBay, I may be being optimistic with the price but hey, gotta try!

haha! well its driving better than ever at the moment, the engine is smooth and quiet and lots of MPG! it doesnt want to go but a valver beckons.

By the way if anyone on here wants it I will let it go cheaper than on eBay.

I see that you live Tanworth-in-Arden Retrodriver - lovely place and sometime home and now resting place of Nick Drake - one of my favourite musicians.

yep indeed, we get alot of Nick Drake fans from all over the world coming to the church to see his grave.

£450, not bad for a 1.6 petrol with 100k on the clock, Alex are you still around?

Looks like it was a scam sale on Ebay after all,and now the price has gone up too. I have left him a message on his answer phone and sent him an e-mail via the ad.Geoff
