BX TXD TURBO SILVER HATCHBACK - 1992 For Sale (On E-Bay)

Post by RxBX »

Spotted on E-bay tidy looking 'K' plate TXD Turbo with only 69,452 miles !
A reasonable £400 for a 'But It Now' which does come with some useful spares too (should you need them):-

"Also is a list of parts i and the previous owner have collected for 'just in case' spares which will be included in the sale if the buy it now price is used otherwise i will sell them separately.

high pressure diesel pump
brand new oil sump
2X alternators
2X starter motors
complete head with manifold, injectors and glow plugs
five brand new glow plugs
oil filter
suspension fluid
Turbo!"

But does need a hinge to pillar weld/repair to the passenger side door (I'd presumes its the front passenger side rather than the rear) :?:
Note the Pug 14" Pepper-pot Alloy's :!: Different I suppose  (LINK)

Gone on "buy it now".

Incidentally, the alloys may very well be originals. I'm very sure the optional alloys on a Mk2 TZD or anything that wasn't a GTi/16v were pepperpot style. Speedlines were only available on the GTi/16v models unless they were made available more widely to shift them late in the BXs sales history, though plenty have of course been retro-fitted.
Back on two wheels and pedal power for the moment.

This is the BX we have snapped up :D The seller is getting the welding done on the door hinge before we collect it next week, we thought it was too good a bargain to miss. Just got to sort out hubby;s trek from Nottingham down to Ash in Kent, I'm sure the journey will be worth it :D

Well done. Certainly the journey back will be fun - not so sure about the trains getting there though  :D

That was a bargain i think. The seller seemed pretty genuine from the listing. Looks like a good one.

I also tend to agree, that's why I posted it just in-case someone not on the Forum spotted it first !
Well done 'jet_black' I hope it turns out to be a good one :D
