XBOX 360 with 60GB HDD and wireless controller

Post by Kitch »

I'm selling up with this XBOX as I've just upgraded. Not sure if it's people's bag on here, but I thought I'd list it. Only looking for £80. Good working order, the HDD is brand new, as is the controller.

XBOX live with Forza Motorsport 2....it's a petrol heads dream.

Hmm are you sure about that. New GT will have crash damage = win. :D

Yup. Forza 2 already has crash damage! And better sounds, more realistic modifications and far better game play.

= win :D

Crash damage is over rated :P It is a laugh when you're pissing about, but real racers don't crash into each other 8)

Forza 3 is out in October though... and it looks rather good.

I don't think we'll be seeing damage in GT5, maybe in the rally stages... nothing more.

In usual Polyphony Digital style no release date has been set... I reckon summer 2010

At the moment, I'd have to say Forza is winning.

Well there are 2 things that are essential for the new GT game:

1) Better car customisation. What if I want to add decals etc. Spoilers in the auto shop that don't look completely stupid on most cars.

2) Some kind of BX so I can race it round the ring, a white TZD turbo would be nice so I can be sad and pretend it's me but since when have racing games had diesel cars in them?

I heard that it's coming out at Christmas this year, but delays are imminent. This game is the only reason I'd buy a PS3 so if it's no good I won't bother.

Crash damage is over rated, yeah. But mechanical damage ain't....in Forza you can blow the engine, wreck the syncros....all sorts.

Forza 3....I'm not so sure. On one hand, there was a list of cars expected to be in the game, which included a host of hot french cars including the BX valver.
However....there were hundreds of french cars and not many of anything else. There wasn't even a cossie. And the guy who reported the list lived in.....France!

More likely I've read, is that they'll use more R-class cars, and more of the same models with different race liveries. and then class that as two different cars, which is knobbish!

Both Forza 3 and GT5 will have in car views though! Rock on! But GT5 is now due next year....they always come a year too late.

On Forza you can fit OE accessory body kits etc. Trust me, it's got GT licked for now!

There is a BX valver in an online race game. R-Simulator I thin, or something. And the top gear test trac, but I can't get it to wor.

For the record....GT4 had diesel cars, and Forza 2 has them. GT4 had the BMW 120d, and I thin some Le Mans cars. Forza 2 has the Peugeot HDI and Audi TDI Le Mans cars. And do I use them? No, I use the 1993 Peugeot 905CC V10 proper-powered Le Mans car.

I had some epic Xbox live races on Forza 2... Although I found it gets stale very quickly... A track full of Mk2 Golf GTis, all tuned to the max. I used to enjoy taking them on with a totally stock Focus ST Generally coming 2nd or 3rd. Much more fun... Although I gave up with Live when My free trial ran out :) Couldn't justify it with the time I spend on it.

Back in 2003 (Not sure exactly when) when they working on GT4, One of the cars at the UK Photoshoot was a BX 16v... from the old 16v forum. One of the many that never made it to tghe game, but they do have all the data and images, so there is no reason it can't make an appearance in a PD game some time in the future

I think the game you mean is Rfactor... and I could never even find the download for the BX

Nice on Kitch that game looks like my type of thing 8)

If I had the £80 you want right now I'd be very tempted, but sadly, I don't.
