A reg 16 RS in scrap lorry

Today while out in the van for work i saw a scrap lorry with a very dirty, moss covered bx on the back. I quickly turned arround and could not belive it when i caught up to it that it was an A reg 16 RS in white. I stopped the lorry driver and asked what was happening to it, sure enough was on the way to be scrapped. Had a quick look over the car and it was rough!!!! no engine, gear box, intera gone, hole in pass side floor, head lamps missing, bumpers smashed in, and while thing under a thick layer of dirt. Driver said he was scrapping 4 BX's for someone local to me, took 2 in yesterday and had the other to bring down later today. I gave him my number as he reconed the other car was the best of the 4, but have not had a call from him! John

I dont think even your polishing and cleaning would get that one back on the road Tim

They aren't the four from Woodbridge are they? I tried to contact the owner a while ago...

the driver of the lorry said they were from Saxmundham area. John

Ah, well in that case, there are several BX's in a small yard just north of the tide mill in Woodbridge.

i drive through woodbridge few times a week. will have a little look see if i can see them, john
