BX 17D non turbo came in 1986 and BX 17 Turbo diesel came in in 1988, but is it had "17" appearing in the badge it would be a n/a one as all TD's were badges RD Turbo/TGD Turbo TZD Turbo etc.

So if it was a G plater it could have been either a 17RD or 17TGD.
