Northern Section CCC Dealer Meet

Post by Daisy »

This is copied, almost verbatim, from the September Citroenian mag, as it isn't listed on the CCC website:-

20 September - Dave Ashworth Garages, Fleetwood, Lancashire

This is our dealer meet for 2009. The day will start at 11am and run through to about 3.30pm. Dave will have a selection of Citroens old and new available, with a number of restorations in progress for examination. Dave will be on hand to answer any queries there may be, and he has kindly offered to provide refreshments during the day.
For those using sat nav - the post code is FY4 4NE ( so Blackpool, not Fleetwood!)
For the rest of us using google maps, the premises are on Cowley Road, South Shore, on the left near the end of the road.

A run through the Illuminations is planned for Saturday evening (19th) but final details are to be finalised.

I have emailed the Northern Section Secretary, David Keeton, who said that if any Citroen owners wish to come along, they will be made very welcome.

I was going to say, Daves place is in Blackpool not Flotweed. The bloke is a Citroen Demi-God and has LHM running through his veins not blood. Indeed when he was involved in a nasty accident once the Victoria Hospital has to send out to Halfrauds for their LHM stock as they had nothing to transfuse him with*

If anyone needs directions and speed camera warnings from the motorway just ask and I will post some up....

*May not have actually happened!

Good Morning Marty - you are an early riser. How are things with you now?

The article did give more accurate road directions, but I left them out.

Up since 4am being sick. Had a bug for 3 bloody days now.

Watch out for the GATSO's - Blackpool is riddled with them and the first one you meet after coming off the M55 is ALWAYS live.

Sorry to hear that - was really referring to your recovery after your accident.

Thanks for the camera warning, I'll probably come straight up the Prom from Flotweed.
