I`m semi-tempted by yours Tim as I have a good engine to lob straight into it.
I`ll wait another few days first though until it sinks in (to you) that you have a hatchback and nobody wants them-then reduce the price accordingly!

I want for £50 for it cavmad! the autobox alone is worth more than that. as are the 2 new tyres! If noone wants it I will break it for speares and scrap the rest which will be a shame as I only scrapped one bx before and I went into mourning for a week afterwards! But it was cream and a petrol and i did pay £10 for it 6 months prior! I need it gone by christmas or the longer I leave it the nearer the mot expiry is! And knowing me I will get all attached and wont want to let it go!

Ian, is this the one Little Mark told us about a few weeks ago? Worthing is only up the road from his place and for the same price and a GTI?

To be honest guys judging by how good the car runs I think the engines fine, hasnt used any more water since the drive home and starts first turn with no smoke, the suspension rises fine and doesnt tick! had new discs and pads (front) so Im told in Feb as it did a exhaust (I cant vouch for that) first owner had it 10 years! As theres a lot of receipts for with the service history. :D

Only bits it would need to are the two rear number plate light holders, they work ok but are hanging out as per usual they have broken! And the battery clamp bolt is missing (I dropped it when i changed the battery for one that works and I cant find it anywhere!) Oh lol and the heater panel doesnt light up (how rare) but the dash does all of it!

I`m currently in delicate negotiations with Mr Leech. He`s insisting I take it for £30 but I feel it`s not enough and have offered £35 :D

It`s getting exciting now! Someone else has first refusal so i`ll see what happens.
Tim did say because it`s a hatchback and it`s auto he should give it to me for nothing but I`d feel so guilty.
