19 tzi auto a/c estate for sale

Post by velosolex50 »

OK, reluctantly, too many cars so......(By order of SWMBO)
Grey 1990 19TZi automatic estate. Working aircon, factory alloys, ABS PAS, remote alarm/central locking. Generally very good condition but has a few parking dings and a non matching rear bumper. Recent new steering rack/pinionvalve/ram, flexible steering coupling, new front calipers, drop links & 1 bottom balljoint, new coilpack, ignition module, good michelin tyres, fairly recent discs/pads. Octopus done about a year or so ago, strut returns about 3 years. Had a replacement auto box & torque converter about 5 years ago by the very meticulous previous owner, oils & lhm regularly changed, hydraflushed a couple of years ago, new spheres about then too. Newish exhaust, no cat but has a lambda sensor fitting if you fancy tuning the efi yourself.
Known issues: rear passenger footwell gets damp when standing in the rain. ABS light is on sometimes (Probably NSR sensor) Battery goes a bit flat after standing for three weeks or so. FM radio has packed up.
Car is in the Isle of Man, manx registered & taxed. There's no MOT test over here, but it passed its pre registration test here 3 years ago, (said to be stiffer than an MOT) Previously english reg so would be easy to re-reg with an MOT.
Goes like the clappers when asked!
otherwise doing about 28mpg typically.
Any offers?

You're not after another are you Todd?

Bit of a trek to go and collect it I would have thought, although that would surely beat Ken's record for the most epic journey to collect a BX...

No,no! I've stopped now. I turned down that free Mk.1 estate too as I've already got my hands full with the semi-working three that I've got. Who wouldn't be interested in this BX though? :D

I'd agree that our pre-registration test is stricter than an MoT - although they didn't pick up on 2 things on my van that had been picked up in an MoT previously!

Oh, and PM sent!
