I have a 1990 BX gti auto air con exclusive 145k miles 10 months MOT with a very good leather upholstery that has a rear passenger door damaged and am having starting problems will not currently start suspect starter motor also when starts very intermittant when cold
up until door damaged and starting problem very well mantained michelins all round
I have bought another BX so need to dispose of this car quickly I have not time or inclination to work on car
Is anybody interested seems a shame to scrap location Derbyshire

If anyone hasn't had a GTi auto can I suggest you give this a try?... with air con too... and leather! What a heady mix.

BarryH, any more information and or pictures? What colour is it? Any tax? What are your expectations on price?

Just a thought but could the non-starting problem be related to the gearbox inhibitor thing? Seem to recall they were a bit of a known trouble spot on autos.
