Just spotted this. Just how bad would the mpg be?

That is an ambitious start for the bidding. Given the issues and the fact it's a pre-1990 spec car, a non-injection 19 auto etc... good for maybe 21 mpg around town and 33 on a run, it's not going to attract much interest. Sad, as in it's day it was high up the BX range. A little sorrier now. I'd be concerned about seatbelt anchor points being excessively corroded and the fact it just isn't a driveable car.

It's been up before too, so obviously didn't sell. Better BX's have appeared for free on here recently, but I guess if you particularly wanted an auto and didn't mind the work and expense, £100 is absolute tops.

Phil do you not remember this car? it was "ours" Its not done many miles in the last two years, and at £100 its £100 more than I paid for it and sold it for. Rode well but was a crap starter and was getting rather rusty with dents on every panel. Drove nicely when warmed up.

If it gets broken I woudl buy the seats as thats the pattern I need.
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....
