Citroen BX GT 49,000miles Anyone got one ???

Hi

Have just found the BX site and was interested to see if anyone has the same model as I have. I bought the car 6 years ago and then it was on only 21,000 miles. Since then it is now on 49,000 miles. Anyone else got one? It's is silver and the 4th BX I've had.My previous BX was an ex demonstration reg of C801 CBX 19GTI. My earliest ownership of a citroen was when I was 12 and my Father sold me for £1 a 1958 ID citroen DS English RHD with mahagony dashboard and brown leather seats. [b][/b]

16RS was quite tidy but needed work. 16TRS auto was beat up and honest but shite. And I also bought the GT off ebay before giving it to my dad.

16RS had done 90k (I think?), 16TRS auto had done 195k and the GT had done 189k but has now clicked 192k I believe.

I haven't really got a low mileage GT. Haven't even got a GT. I was just taking the piss as the title sounded a bit competitive!

I prefer cars that have earned their stripes, not just been sat up and polished.

Exactly - best to have a dirty, well running scruffy BX, than a polished, pipe-bursting rusty BX. IMO.
