Back on the road again... HMV

I bought a 3 year old BX 1.9 TXD in 1996, from the original owner who had looked after it very well. I moved from Kent to Northern Ireland that year and the BX was used and abused as a work vehicle while I was building my house. Luckily I had a Series 3 Land Rover from the grunt work.
In 2000 I drove the BX to the south of France where she remained unused until last month. It was stored in a dry garage and on a float charge. I think in all that time there, I would have started her about a 10 times ,at the most. Yes ...almost 9 years later I fired her up and drove her nearly 1200 miles via Cherbourg to Rosslare( no breakdown insurance...I had faith in the old lady) to a pre booked MOT station in Enniskillen. She failed because one H4 headlamp had become loose, 30 minutes later and a re-test..I had an MOT cert in my had...to the Tax office.. ..some road tax.. and the next day a ferry to Liverpool and to Kent, her old home.
The original owner drove up one day as his daughter lived across from me and spotted my BX and was really taken back a bit.
I drove her back from Kent to Fermanagh last Friday and will be giving her a good going over ..not much really... pads, oil all the filters.. and fluids.
98, 000 miles and on the button..

Cheers, will do, but I should be able to sort something out with the photos.
Got HMV ( last reg letters) washed today, looks great.
Changed oil, filters, and pads. Noticed a brake seal gone. Will probably go for the new caliper option. Have to sort out the Heater matrix and change the LHM fluid. Can you still get the "cleaning "LHM fluid?
I ordered some ACF spray for my motorbike, that wouldn't go astray on the Citroen.

the wheel trims are cheap and nasty and everyone of them cracked when I tried to fit them, obviously the car objected. But they made the car look a bit more presentable when I put her through the MOT. They come from the French equivalent of Halfords,... Norauto? ...I think thats how it spelt.
