I found a 16V.

Oh dear.

http://www.autoscout24.ch/AS24Web/Detai ... id=6328592

I want it badly, and it's cheap (but needs work). But it's in the opposite corner of the country. And I have no time. And no trailer. And no spare parts. And no space.

It's a pity, I'm very likely not getting it. :'(

That's about 500 quid in Uk sheets. Switzerland is a small country Carl so that should be no problem collecting! There can't be many 16v's in Switzerland. The last one I saw was probably the best example anywhere - typical Swiss : low mileage, working A/C, full Citroen service history from new. Imported into Germany and sold to an enthusiast in Holland.

Actually, I also got the chance to buy a CX now... Just look at this brilliant interiour:

Image

Sooo pretty!

It has working aircon, and it has only 108'000km (about 67'000 miles). It's a red GTI. Ah. If I just had the space to put them and the time to mend them. The CX is actually in mint condition, no rust and with new MFK (MOT). He wants at least 2000CHF for it. That's a bit much. And I actually don't even use the car that much. Ah, it's just a shame. I wish I was rich and had nothing more to do, I'd spend my money on old cars...

In retrospective, I should also have bought that DIGIT that was on a year ago or so for 3000CHF...

This is sad :'(

Great looking interior. I like (I think!) the screwed in pieces of plywood. That extra touch of class. Or is it?

That woood doesnt work for me, if it was a darker finish (walnut maybe?) and not so DIY then maybe, more akin to a Rover than CX.
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....

That evil wood completely spoils the beautiful CX interior.
