As above. If this bloody Athena's done the 63,000 miles advertised, I'm chinese and my cat's in MENSA.

The more I strip to check the more advanced wear I find.

Still, there's zero rust and she's a looker. All I have to do is reverse the ageing process so, if anyone has a good HP pump they want to sell/swap for TZD bits, I'm in the market.

Alternatively, anyone know if the diesel one can be modified?

hi Bob the only thing you might be able to do is strip the pulley/s and face plate/s from both the existing pump and the diesel one, and swap them over as i would think all the inner gubins are the same,

doing this you might just need a new seal/O ring

The only fly in the ointment is if, for some reason, I find a fault with both - or the rebuild goes tits-up (know what I mean?) whereupon I'll be BX-less............and I'm not sure I'm mentally ready for driving the crappy Bora.

It's be nice to at least have a spare pump.
