Does anyone here know a fella called David Trainer? (i think thats his surname) Lots of white curly hair, beard, glasses. I spotted a pristine 16v in white one night in Dublin a few weeks back while i was in my bx and promptly weaved my way through the traffic to pull up alongside him and say hello. It was a Dublin registered car and he said he was on his way to the ferry to get over to the UK to pick up parts. Seemed a very nice chap. We didn't have much time with the traffic, but he said he looked at this forum and seemed to know of me, he must be known to someone perhaps in the 16v fold? i'd be very interested to establish contact with him over here, he said he had a TZD estate also and was nuts about BXs.

Hi There,

i have sold david a fair few bx parts over ebay earlier this year. As far as i know he has more bx,s than just the 16v and tzd. I sold him many bx gti 8v parts as he has one of them to. Never met the guy but a very nice guy to deal with over the net.

yeah he seemed like a top bloke i can't believe i didn't get his number.

I was in a mad rush to pick up the babysitter from the tram stop which i couldn't find, And in my getting lost i bumped into him. still relatively new to this emerald shore.
