A mate has been to see these on my behalf and he said that pretty much all of the cars are scrap and are completely rotten!

Shame. I seem to remember him saying there was a Black GTi so that could be the one.

I saw this on the links at the bottom, and find it strangely appealing. If I had the money an ace road trip/holiday would be to fly over there and drive the thing back. Oh well, back to reality.

Might even be a similar price to get a budget flight and drive back, which would be more fun in my eyes. Take a couple of mates and make your leisurely way back up Europe, sampling the wines on the way.

You really need to buy two piles of shite, so you have a sporting chance of towing whatever expires back home. The problem is when both die en-route...
