I have one of those IXO models, they're very good for the money.

Now.

I see in your sig "Hyundai Stellar with Rover V8". Fascinating! Is there a web-page/video or anything showing this undoubtedly hilarious creation?

Yes. Although the project is far from finished, it does (did?) run...
Video is here!
A photo of the engine bay is below.

I really must pull my finger out and finish it, I've owned it for 13 years now; the video of it starting was back in 2003.

Just testing, I knew that you knew really!
Actually I now have NOT got a V70, it's been replaced by something with something that's French and has some plastic panels.

I've just bitten my tongue in 3 places trying to say that out loud...

Not a BX? Or maybe an Espace?
Tim wrote:The question is why
Well why not? Actually just the result of a daft bet when someone said the engine wouldn't fit. It is actually a fairly tight squeeze and I can't fit the front anti roll bar unless I drill through the oil filter, which might not be the wisest idea I've had. Remote oil filter FTW!
How off topic can one thread go?

E-spaz. Quite why the holy bollocks I got a) a Renault and b) a Renault diesel I don't quite know, but there you go :D
To be fair despite the mileage it's wearing (lots) it's not a bad old thing at all and seems quite good on juice for a 2.2.

Anyhow I love your Stella, have you got a build thread/WIP on the go? I'd love to see/know more about that.
