Despite buying a 2nd hand transistor and then replacing the transistor on my heater its still not working 100%.
Has anybody got a known working spare for sale... please?
Cheers, Ian

i would think it is possible to repaire these, the XANT with AC has two transistors on the heater fan resistor pack, all they usualy require is a pair of new transistors,
if you ask Jim Eastmen if you can send him an old one from a BX, he might be able to point you in the direction of the correct transistor,

I've replaced the transistor already, i'm guessing theres something else in there thats faulty. Having replaced the transistor itself I still get exactly the same lame response from the blower. I've confirmed its the transistor 'module' as i replaced it with one from the other BX and it then worked perfectly.
Anybody got one??
