I was having a chat with a fellow journo and need some clarification. Was the bonnet/tailgate etc on BX's fibreglass or plastic?

Re: BX - plastic or fibreglass?
All tailgates are GRP as Chris mentioned, most bonnets are the same but some early and some late models had steel bonnets instead. The rear C post outer panels were also GRP as are the roof side panels.RKM wrote:I was having a chat with a fellow journo and need some clarification. AND! if it has the tinted windows in the C pillars they're polycarbonate! and I think the BX was one of the very first cars to use polypropelyne bumpers that reformed their shape in small impacts.Roverman wrote:All tailgates are GRP as Chris mentioned, most bonnets are the same but some early and some late models had steel bonnets instead.
