That's a very interesting title for a post Tom! Where is DLM by the way? He just sort of disappeared from the scene.

He has limited web access at the moment and has charged me with finding a suitable new keeper for Grolliffe who is sufficiently well known not to need further description.

there are some people here who don't have a clue what you're talking about and might be interested in this offer. 'Groliffe' could be some sort of ailment for all we know. How about being a little bit less mysterioso Tom and this might be open to a wider range of people!

Ok, well, Groliffe is Tom's old car, that DLM then took custody of.
It has leather and air and having spent some time under it last year can report that it drives VERY well indeed.
If I needed another car in my life I'd have it now, but I have too many already, as is the valver will be going, so I'll let it pass, but it's history is well documented here, it did have the wrong colour front bumper after a slight bang, but the front was repaired, by me and my motley crew, and it's one of the best BX's you're likely to find now.
It really does ride like it's a new car.
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Classical arrogance that anyone who\'s anyone will know about Grollife. There\'s no need for it. I suspect that \'one\' (no, not DLM) is trying to feed ones own ego by having it snapped up with no description what so ever on the assumption that because Tom re-worked the car it must simply be the best and to die for. However, the leather is grey and horrible. The paint around the windows that is supposed to be black is grey. Dull Dull grey. But it\'s ok, it\'s the best because Tom built it.

Being as you\'re so amazing Tom, lend me your trumpet and I\'ll play it for you.

No bandit, you are wrong, that is WRONG about the correct colour and I do not want the car going to any Johnny come lately who is only going to break it for parts which is why PMs were invited from interested parties.

And yes, I build a FXXXing good car because I've forgotten more about BXs than you will EVER know.

That isn't arrogance, that's fact and if you don't like it, so much the better.
Now go away and evolve.

Not now, I'm afraid.

And given the character of this thread wouldn't consider this BX if I did.

Oxymoron. You do not know what I do or don\'t know Tom. That is a bona fide fact.

You assuming that you know more than me is not a fact, it\'s arrogance.

Some things in life I can\'t abide. Arrogance is one of them, so I\'ve said my piece and I\'m walking away from the slanging match.
