BX steel wheels with very good tyres for sale.

Post by spanners »

These are the old wheels off my BX TZD before I fitted my Speedlines. They're the steels with holes in rather than just solid. Shod with Kleber 185/60HR14 tyres, 2 with 5mm and 2 with 6mm.

I'm having a massive clearout of "stuff" and these keep getting in my way!

How does £60 ono sound for the set? Located in Longbridge, Birmingham-5 minutes from both M5 and M42.

Bump!

They really are in excellent condition and (I'd have thought) a bit of a bargain?

The only reason I took them off is because I got a set of Speedlines for my TZD and reshod them with 195/60HR14 Klebers! I've now done somewhere in the region of 25000 miles on the set on the car and they still have 5mm remaining.

The only reason I'm trying to sell them is purely because I'm trying to have a bit of a de-clutter as the drive's a bit full with a 2cv, a racing 2cv, C5 estate, Discovery and BX on it. And, rumour is that Mrs Spanners 2CV is coming home from the bodyshop after 12 years!! Space required.

Klebers not bad tyres. Marketed by Michelin as a lower-priced "named" brand, I've got some on the estate (pinched off the Hurricane!). Not as sticky as Michelins, but then, what (short of racing slicks) is? :D
'92 BX GTi Hurricane - gone to a good home
'90 BX 19TGD estate - goes, but not going anywhere!
'90 BX 19TGD hatch in even more bits...
'71 Dyane project
'74 2CV6 project
'82 2CV6 Club - gone to a good home
the remains of an '88 2CV6 Dolly - watch this space!
...and a '95 VW Passat auto estate!!
