Is it worth starting a thread for those in need of bits or what they are wanting to sell?

I have a few bits I dont need.

1. Set of 4 black GTi steels with 185/60 tyres SOLD to RHV100

2. Long nosed bonnet (olympic blue) FOC SOLD to Richard

3. TD Radiator (used, FOC) SOLD to Richard

4. Various Black Dash Bits, heater control, clock tray FOC.

5. New Mk1 Bumper (part of body styling Kit) £30

6. TD/GTi rear box, 6 months old OE part £25

7. MK1 Rear Bumper SOLD TO Chris (ren16TX)

8. MK1 FRONT BUMPER NEW £50

9. BX 14 HP PUMP, USED BUT FINE £30

Could do with a long nose bonnet and TD rad.Is it a normal mk1 bumper?

I have a few spare spare parts too.

What comes to mind are:

boot spoiler, pram handle type.
A few doors
Various BX Diesel engine parts
A good 6J grey alloy that needs painting coz the lacquer is peeling of the centre of the wheel. (unusual that-normally its the edge that goes.)

Hi Richard, its not, its kinda like a BX sport bumper, but with the cutouts for the fogs lamps recessed into the main part below the headlamps. Must be very rare.

It would be good if all us BXC crew could park together and do the swopsies so that way we dont miss people.

Hi Vanny. Luckily Richard has found the one that originally came out of my 1987 19TRS Auto, so that's one less part for me to worry about

Morning Ray.Just been up at the farm to see the RD Turbo on to a recovery truck taking her to get the hydraulics sorted and have also found some clips that hold the matting to the underside of the bonnet,so i will bring those 4 u 2.

I'll be bringing quite a few items along; available for discretionary donation to Cancer Research UK.

Included are:
Grey n/s light cluster, green o/s cluster, pair of early Mk 2 rear lights, a couple of headlights, a selection of indicator lights including a Mk 1 one, Xsara and Saxo rear lights, a couple of speedo heads, and roof consoles: with maplights/plip receiver fittings, a set of four 'Z' trims in need of some refurbishment but OK, a pair of grey sunvisors and numerous bits and bobs including a couple of alternators, a gear stick and gaiter, a central locking motor and a couple of regulators. There's also a CO2 tester device and a headrest mounted coat hanger...

Aside from the above, I will be selling side window wind deflectors, a pair of LHD XM headlights, a pair of Thule BX roof bars and a really retro 1980's/early 90's Hella high level brake light still in it's box.
